Here’s a short video that explains how to send bitcoin to an external wallet via Cashapp
You can send bitcoin using lightning or the blockchain:
Tap the Money tab on your Cash App home screen
Tap the Bitcoin tile
Tap the Airplane/Arrow button
Choose Send Bitcoin
Enter the amount and the recipient’s BTC address
Tap Next
Select a speed
Tap Confirm & Send
Make sure to copy and paste the Bitcoin address exactly. An easy way to check this is to make sure the first 3 digits/letters are correct when you paste it.
Sign in to Coinbase.
Select Buy / Sell on the upper right-hand side.
Click the Buy panel to select the asset you’d like to purchase.
Enter the amount you’d like to buy denominated in crypto or your local currency.
Select your payment method.
Click Preview Buy to confirm your purchase (you can always click the back arrow to make a change).
If the details are correct, click Buy to complete your purchase
FOR SENDING BITCOIN VIA COINBASE
To send Bitcoin on Coinbase, you can:
Select Send and Receive from the toolbar on your dashboard.
Enter the amount of crypto you want to send.
Choose the asset to send.
Enter the crypto address, phone number, or email address of the person you want to send the crypto to.
Leave a note (optional).
Review the transaction details, including the network fee and estimated time it will take to complete.
Tap Send now.
1. Log into PayPal
2. Go to the crypto section of your application
3. Select the coin you want to send
4. Click or tap the transfers button
5. Select “Send”
6. Copy and paste an address, manually enter it, or scan a QR code(see bitcoin wallet address at checkout)
(Make sure to copy and paste it exactly as shown!)
7. Enter the amount you want to send and tap Next
8. Make sure to send it to the right recipient
You can buy Bitcoin with PayPal using their PayPal balance, or a PayPal-linked debit card or bank account.
Go to the Crypto tab
Pick the crypto you want to send
Tap the transfer arrows in the bottom right corner
Tap Send
Enter the recipient’s information
Enter the amount of crypto you want to send – Venmo will calculate any relevant fees
Review the transaction details
Hit Send to initiate the transfer
-Remember: Crypto transfers cannot be cancelled or reversed. Be sure the recipient’s details are correct. Crypto sent to the wrong address will be lost.
